55 Alive Mature Driving Course
Tuesday and Thursday
August 5th & 7th, 2008
12:30-4:30 p.m.
$10.00 per person
This 8 hour course concentrates on compensating for the gradual changes associated with aging that may impact driving. The entire course must be completed to receive certification. There are NO tests.
The course is designed for people age 50 or over, however anyone may pay the fee and take the class. Graduates receiving a certificate may get a reduced liability premium for a period of 3 years after completing the course.

Held the 2nd Thursday of each month from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Come make new friends or see old ones. Start your morning at 11:00 a.m. with coffee and donuts. Lunch (prepared by our very own staff and volunteers) is served promptly at noon. After lunch and dessert enjoy entertainment or special interest speaker. $2.00 donation appreciated to help cover costs. Senior Bingo: Held the 4th Thursday of each month from 11:00 - 1:00 Includes dessert, coffee and prizes! Cost is $1.00 per person. No reservation required. This is a free service is provided annually by AARP volunteers. Taxes are completed for senior citizens and persons with low income from February - April 15 at Ken-Rock by appointment only.
